π‘ Community Improvements, Important Announcements & Friendly Reminders
Dear Woodland Park Residents,
As we continue working to maintain and improve our beautiful community, the Woodland Park Homeowners Association would like to share several important updates regarding upcoming maintenance, community improvements, volunteer opportunities, and reminders about our shared amenities.
Please take a few moments to review the following information. Your cooperation helps keep Woodland Park a safe, beautiful, and enjoyable place for everyone!
π¨ IMPORTANT: POOL CLOSURE | WEEK OF OCTOBER 19
The Woodland Park community pool will be closed beginning Monday, October 19, 2026, for the entire week.
During this closure, scheduled maintenance will include:
- π§ Pool treatment and cleaning.
- π§ Replacement of pool filtration components.
- π Necessary maintenance to ensure proper pool operation.
The pool will reopen once maintenance has been completed and the facility is ready for residents.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important improvements.
π¦ Irrigation & Landscaping Improvements
Our community continues to address irrigation system repairs and landscaping improvements throughout Woodland Park.
Work includes:
- Ongoing repairs to the community irrigation system.
- Replacement of shrubs damaged by the freeze earlier this year.
- Continued maintenance of common-area landscaping.
These improvements will be completed progressively as repairs and landscaping schedules allow.
Thank you for your patience as we work to restore and maintain our community’s landscaping.
π Toddler Playground Improvements
We are planning several maintenance improvements to the toddler playground to help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for our youngest residents.
Upcoming work includes:
- Replacement and replenishment of playground mulch.
- Cleaning and clearing of existing drainage.
- Minor repairs to loose or bent fence posts.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation while these improvements are completed.
π Holiday Lighting | Volunteers Needed!
The holiday season is approaching, and we would love to see Woodland Park beautifully decorated for Christmas!
We are currently seeking community volunteers interested in helping install holiday lighting and decorations throughout our common areas.
With enough volunteers, we can create a festive atmosphere while keeping community expenses down.
If we are unable to establish a sufficient volunteer group, the Association may need to hire a professional company to install commercial holiday lighting.

π β Volunteer for Holiday Decorations
Let’s work together to make Woodland Park shine this holiday season!
π³ Protect Our Community Reserves | No Dumping
Our conservation and reserve areas are an important part of Woodland Park’s natural environment and must be protected.
Dumping or disposing of materials in these areas is strictly prohibited.
This includes:
- Landscaping debris, grass clippings, and tree branches.
- Household garbage and unwanted items.
- Construction materials.
- Chemicals, motor oil, and other hazardous substances.
- Any other waste or discarded materials.
Please remember that these areas are subject to county inspections.
Improper disposal may result in county fines and HOA violations or enforcement actions.
All residents and landscaping contractors are responsible for properly removing and disposing of waste generated from their properties.
Thank you for helping preserve our community’s natural surroundings.
π‘ Architectural Review Committee (ARC) | Approval Reminder
Planning improvements or modifications to your home?
Please remember that exterior modifications must receive the appropriate ARC approval before work begins, as required by the Association’s architectural guidelines.
This includes applicable improvements to:
- The front or exterior of your home.
- Landscaping and exterior structures.
- Backyard improvements visible above privacy fences.
- Modifications visible from neighboring properties.
Please submit your ARC application and obtain approval before beginning any work that requires authorization.
This process helps maintain the appearance and architectural standards of Woodland Park.
π¬ Help Keep Our Mailbox Areas Clean
Our community mailbox stations are shared spaces used by hundreds of residents.
Please help keep these areas clean and accessible.
Friendly reminders:
- Mailboxes and mail kiosks are intended for mail only.
- Dispose of unwanted mail in designated receptacles.
- Do not leave household garbage, boxes, or unwanted items around mailbox stations.
- Help maintain clean and accessible walkways.
A little consideration goes a long way toward keeping our community looking its best!
π«π Pool Usage & Gatherings | Respect Our Shared Amenities
The Woodland Park swimming pool is a shared community amenity intended for the enjoyment of all residents.
To ensure everyone has equal access, please remember the following:
π« No Private Pool Parties or Exclusive Reservations
The pool cannot be reserved, blocked off, or taken over for private parties or events.
Residents may not restrict access to the pool or surrounding facilities for the purpose of hosting private gatherings.
π₯ Small Gatherings Require Approval
Small gatherings of 10 people or fewer may be permitted with prior Board approval.
Approval does not provide exclusive use of the pool or prevent other residents from enjoying the facilities.
π« No Party Setups or Additional Equipment
Please do not bring or install:
- Additional tables or chairs.
- Bounce houses or inflatable party structures.
- Large party decorations or balloon arrangements.
- Loudspeakers or amplified sound equipment.
- Decorations attached to cabanas or community structures.
π Be Considerate of Other Residents
Please keep music at a personal listening level and avoid excessive noise, profanity, or offensive language.
Remember that the pool is a place for everyone to relax, swim, and enjoy time with family and friends.
Our goal is not to discourage residents from enjoying the pool, but to ensure that no individual or group prevents others from enjoying this shared amenity.
Thank you for being considerate of your neighbors!
