The Events Committee focuses on planning fun and meaningful activities that bring our community together. From large gatherings to small recognitions, this committee supports neighborhood engagement and positive connections among neighbors.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and organizing events such as:
- Holiday parties
- Food truck nights
- Community pool gatherings
- Neighborhood markets or vendor fairs
- Yard of the Month program
- Holiday decoration contests
- Creating and submitting budget requests to the Board for each event
- Coordinating logistics, including setup, communication, and volunteers
- Recognizing homes that demonstrate excellent upkeep or seasonal decorations
- Promoting events through flyers, email updates, and social channels
Expectations:
- Must be a homeowner in good standing with no active violations
- Must be collaborative and dependable, with a positive, can-do attitude
- Events must align with HOA policies and budgets — no unauthorized spending
- This is a planning and action group, not a platform for complaints or personal preferences
- One team leader must be appointed to act as the liaison with the Board
